Olive Crest, Strong Families, Safe Kids, San Diego
For 50 years Olive Crest has transformed the lives of 200,000 children and families in crisis through the healing power of God, family, and community. Olive Crest is dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis One Life at a Time. We care for vulnerable kids in our Strong Families program, provide case management and support for foster youth, and recently launched a program to care for trafficked children in a pioneer program. Eight North Coast Calvary Chapel families have provided 126 safe nights through our Strong Families program in the past year. This means they welcomed kids into their home for at least one night, providing support for isolated single moms navigating an array of crisis: domestic violence, homelessness, mental health crisis, medical crisis, addiction, etc.
